Crittenton Centers is excited to once again host this beloved holiday tradition at Northwoods Mall, offering a safe, fun, and affordable shopping experience just for children ages 2–12. The store will be open December 4–14, giving young shoppers the chance to pick out meaningful gifts for the special people in their lives—all on their own, with no parent assistance needed.

For more than four decades, the Stocking Stuffer Store has created magical moments of independence, generosity, and joy. Families return year after year because this tradition becomes a treasured part of childhood—and parenthood.

Melissa Hamilton shared her family’s experience:
“Our son began visiting the Stocking Stuffer Store at a very young age, and we continue to support the mission every year. It is a wonderful opportunity for him to purchase gifts with no parent help, making them a unique surprise. The choices are affordable, so he's able to purchase for multiple friends and family members. Our donation goes directly back to our local community, but the best part about the Stocking Stuffer Store is that I remember visiting the store when I was a young girl. Watching my son participate in an act of giving that I was able to do at his age is really neat to watch.”
Another long-time supporter, Lucy Heck, shared her joy in watching her children shop:
“Our kids love shopping with the Communication Junction ladies each year. As parents we love that our kids are able to spend time in the store with someone they know and trust. It is always so much fun to see what the kids pick out each year. Looking forward to this year!”
